One of Copenhagen's most serious Japanese rooms, open since 2006 and shaped top to bottom by owner Damindra Tillekeratne, who designed everything from the glassware to the chairs. The reputation rests on genuinely world-class sushi alongside kushiyaki, tempura and toban-yaki, made with pristine Scandinavian produce. Regulars call it among the best Japanese in the city and even in Europe; it's a splurge, and the flip side of that ambition is that pacing between courses can occasionally drag.
