A dedicated Danish frokost restaurant near Kastellet and Churchillparken, tucked just off Amaliegade down from Amalienborg, doing classic, creative and vegetarian smørrebrød the traditional way — everything homemade, best with a cold beer and a snaps. The old-fashioned maritime room is a calm little pocket in a busy tourist stretch, and it's well reviewed (around 4.7) for good reason. A reliable, charming choice for a proper open-sandwich lunch; book if you want a table midday.
