Løjtehus is a big, old-fashioned Danish restaurant out in Kastrup, in a 1934 building that once served as a dance hall — the kind of place you go for generous, unfussy meat-and-potatoes classics: steaks, wienerschnitzel, fresh fish and a decent beer. It's traditional to the core, comfortable, sometimes with live music, and clearly beloved by a loyal local and celebration crowd rather than the trend-chasing set. Come for hearty plates and a warm, slightly nostalgic room, not for anything modern or delicate.
