A refined classic Danish lunch house on Sankt Annæ Plads, serving high-quality homemade smørrebrød since 1894 with proper ceremony — Meissen porcelain, pressed linens and a well-stocked snaps and spirits selection. It's the polished, old-world end of the smørrebrød spectrum, praised in the international press (AA Gill called it 'almost faultless'), and priced accordingly. For a special, traditional Danish lunch done seriously, it's a strong pick; casual it is not.
