Shezan has held down the corner of Istedgade and Viktoriagade since 1978 as Denmark's first Pakistani restaurant, and that longevity shows in richly spiced curries, korma and karahi served in generous portions at fair prices. Regulars are devoted and the service tends to be warm, though a few diners find certain dishes uneven or the room busy at peak times. For old-school, authentic Pakistani-Indian home cooking with real history behind it, it's a Vesterbro institution.
