Retour is chef Rasmus Oubæk's Parisian-style steak-frites bistro, and the Vesterbro branch (by Vesterport) delivers the same tight formula: a good cut of steak, that celebrated béarnaise, crisp fries and a sensible wine list, without much menu fuss. It's dependable, grown-up French bistro cooking that lands well above the mid-range steak crowd — just don't expect surprises beyond the steak. Popular enough that booking ahead is wise.
