Rosengaardens Vinstue

A genuine old-Copenhagen vinstue tucked on Rosengården since 1940, all dark wood, cheap draft beer and a regulars-and-tourists mix. It's a bodega in the truest sense: you come for atmosphere and an inexpensive pint, not for food, and the layers of local history (there's a well-worn tale about bullet holes in the wall) are half the charm. If you want a polished cocktail bar this isn't it, but for an unpretentious, cozy old-town drink it delivers.
