Seaside Toldboden is a big, buzzy waterfront gastro-house in the old customs building at Nordre Toldbod, where seven independent kitchens (staffed by chefs who've passed through Michelin-starred kitchens) plate everything from oysters, ceviche and sushi to grilled monkfish, yakitori and tomahawk steaks. Add a serious wine list, cocktails, weekend DJs and harbor views toward the Opera House, and it's more of a lively all-in-one dining-and-drinks destination than an intimate meal. Great for groups and a scene; go for the setting and variety, not hushed gastronomy.
