The Spis take

Not a restaurant in the usual sense but an artist-run community space in Sydhavnen (Bådhavnsgade), built out of a reclaimed harbour hangar. Food shows up as communal dinners alongside exhibitions, concerts, workshops and even sauna sessions with the sea a hundred metres away. Go for the atmosphere, the events and the DIY, collective spirit rather than a conventional meal — it's one of the more unusual, soulful corners of the city's waterfront.
