The Spis take

Skaal is one of Denmark's biggest craft-beer bars, seating 300+ on Kultorvet with something like 100 beers across roughly 48 taps and a wall of bottles. It's a genuine destination for beer people, with a café menu of salads, burgers and beer-friendly smørrebrød to soak it up, plus wine and cocktails for the non-hoppy. The central square location and scale mean it can feel busy and a touch touristy, but for sheer beer selection in the city center it's hard to beat.
