A living piece of Copenhagen history: a hard-candy workshop founded in 1891 and purveyor to the Royal Danish Court, still boiling and pulling boiled sweets by hand on Nørregade using the same century-old method. You come as much for the theatre — watching fifth-generation candymakers shape rainbow bolcher before your eyes — as for the bags of tutti-frutti and 'Kongen af Danmark'. Touristy, yes, but the real, un-fake deal and a genuine only-in-Copenhagen stop.
