The Spis take

Sonny is one of central Copenhagen's most-loved little coffee-and-daytime spots, run by a young couple who channelled Paris (David worked at Coutume) into a cosy room off Rådhusstræde. Expect excellent La Cabra coffee alongside pastries, sandwiches, salads and cakes — beautifully done, if firmly on the pricier side. If you want a proper flat white and a light bite in the old town, this is a genuine destination.
