The Spis take

The café offshoot of the Studio X design boutique in Frederiksstaden, and it looks the part: breakfast and light lunch served on beautiful ceramics amid tasteful wood and modern design. Think organic plates, omelettes, yogurt and good bread in a calm, aesthetic room, with a bit of design-press attention behind it. It's more a stylish daytime pit-stop than a serious restaurant, and you're partly paying for the look.
