The Spis take

This is the in-store Swedish restaurant at IKEA Aarhus out in Skejby, not a standalone dining destination. You come for the ritual: meatballs with cream sauce and lingonberries, salmon, cheap coffee and a soft-serve on the way out, eaten on a tray after a lap of the showroom. Nobody pretends it's cooking to seek out, but it's tidy, family-friendly and genuinely inexpensive by Danish standards. Judge it as what it is and it delivers.
