Good forsmørrebrød with a landmark view

The Spis take

Tårnet occupies the tower of Christiansborg Palace, the seat of the Danish Parliament, roughly 44 metres up in what was once a parliamentary chamber, and it's the only restaurant inside the castle open to the public. Run by chef Rasmus Bo Bojesen (also behind the Opera restaurant), it does classic Danish cooking: seasonal smørrebrød at lunch, a warmer dinner. The setting and the view are the real draw, so come for the occasion and the outlook as much as the plate; you can also ride up to the free viewing platform above.
