The Spis take

A French-leaning bistro and patisserie on Store Kongensgade run by an award-winning chef, best known for a case of high-level cakes and pastries, including an unusually good gluten-free range that some visitors rate the best they've had anywhere. Lunch is brunchy and easy, sandwiches, soups and salads, and it's a lovely daytime stop for coffee and something sweet. Fair warning: the offering is more Danish/eclectic than strictly French, and a few reviewers have found the owner brusque about seating.
