One of the bars that helped ignite Copenhagen's craft-cocktail scene back in 2012, The Barking Dog is a low-lit, English-pub-warm room on Sankt Hans Gade with a serious, uncompromising bar program - famous for its deep tequila and mezcal focus (the FT once ranked it among the world's best tequila bars). It's earned repeat spots on the World's 50 Best Discovery list and remains a Nørrebro benchmark for a proper, unpretentious cocktail. If you care about drinks, this is a must.
