The Spis take

Better known as Tribeca, this is a beer-and-pizza laboratory in Nordvest with an Ugly Duck (Ugly Duckling) brewery on site — Sicilian-style stone-oven pizzas alongside a rotating, seasonal lineup of experimental beers spanning stouts, wheat beers and hazy IPAs. It's a relaxed, geeky spot for people who take their pints seriously and want good pizza to go with them; not fancy, and that's the point. Fun for a beer-nerd evening away from the tourist center.
