The Spis take

A romantic old forest restaurant tucked into Marselisborg Skov by the deer park, on a mill site whose history reaches back to the 1600s. Since a chef couple reopened it in 2022 it serves classic, season-driven Danish lunches à la carte, and the setting under the beech canopy is as much of the draw as the plate. Best for a leisurely daytime lunch or a celebration in the green calm, not a quick bite.
