Tutten på Mellemfortet is a hidden, almost secret little spot by the water on Amager, serving home-cooked Danish food and smørrebrød in a no-frills, old-boat-club atmosphere going back to 1966. The draw is the honest cooking, gentle prices and a genuinely lovely harbour view with the sailboats — cash or MobilePay only, and worth booking on busy evenings. As Danish and unvarnished as it gets; go for the setting and the hygge, not for polish.
