Ved Kajen is a small canal-front spot at Nyhavn 43 serving traditional Danish food across brunch, lunch and dinner, with a grill buffet and salad bar in the evening and a terrace open spring through autumn. It's an easygoing, tourist-oriented place where the view outperforms the kitchen - TripAdvisor scores sit low and reviews are decidedly mixed. Fine for a sunny outdoor bite, but not somewhere to go out of your way for.
