The Spis take
A genuine Copenhagen institution: Vinstue 90 has poured on Gammel Kongevej since 1916, its 1920s leather-and-wood interior deliberately frozen in time with no jukebox or music. It's famous for the 'slow beer' — an ordinary Carlsberg drawn over 12–15 minutes so it arrives less gassy under a towering head — a ritual worth witnessing at least once. If you love old brown bars, this is one of the city's best.
