The Axeltorv/Axelborg branch of the Café Vivaldi chain, sitting right across from Tivoli's main entrance — a big, bright all-day café with a huge terrace facing the square and a familiar crowd-pleasing menu of brunch, sandwiches, salads, steaks and cakes from their own bakery. The location, steps from Tivoli and the station, is the real draw; the food is reliable chain fare rather than anything memorable. Handy for a pre-Tivoli bite or people-watching over coffee.
