The Barcode branch of Åpent Bakeri, the respected Oslo craft bakery going since 1998 that leans on long fermentation and old-fashioned handwork. Expect very good sourdough bread, pastries, sandwiches and coffee in a bright spot handy to the Bjørvika offices and the Opera. It's a chain now, so it can get busy and a bit corporate at peak, but the baking quality holds up and it's a dependable breakfast or lunch stop.
