The Spis take

A brewpub near Vaterland/Grünerløkka on Maridalsveien tied to Beer Flag Oslo, with a wall of taps (around 22 lines) plus cans and bottles, and a locally famous streak of hospitality: free waffles with brown cheese, chatty bartenders and beer recommendations. It's backed by Norwegian comedy/TV names (Johan Golden, Atle Antonsen, Øystein Karlsen), which gives it a bit of buzz, but at heart it's a warm, unfussy beer bar. Go for the beer and the welcome, not for food.
