The Spis take

A Basque-leaning pintxos and wine bar tied to the much-hyped Sommerro hotel, with a sibling counter in Mathallen. The format is the fun part: little bites on bread and Spanish wines by the glass, some tables bookable but plenty of drop-in room for grazing. It's a polished, crowd-pleasing take on San Sebastián bar culture rather than the real gritty article, and Sommerro pricing applies, but for pre-dinner cava and pintxos it delivers.
