The Spis take

Really the home of Norsk Billedhoggerforening (the sculptors' association) — an old brick villa, Villa Furulund, with a small sculpture park in the garden up behind Carl Berner. Its food side is a charming, easy-to-miss summer cafe that runs weekends only, serving coffee, waffles, ice cream and the odd home-baked cake among the sculptures. It's a hidden-gem stop for a lazy summer Saturday, not a proper restaurant — manage expectations and check it's the season.
