MIR, run by the non-commercial Grünerløkka Lufthavna, is a scruffy backyard bar and stage that's a beloved fixture of alternative Løkka nightlife rather than a proper restaurant. The draw is the vibe and the program: improvised jazz, DJs, quizzes and concerts across every genre in a gloriously ramshackle room. Come for a beer and live music with the arty crowd, not for a dinner menu, and mind the 20-year age limit.
