Cardinal is repeatedly called one of the best beer bars in Stavanger and even Scandinavia, famous for an enormous selection — roughly 10 draft lines and around 600 bottles listed in a book-length menu. Reviewers love the knowledgeable, helpful bartenders and the clean, classic English/Irish-pub feel with dark wood and eclectic decor. Prices are considered high, though that is noted as normal for Norway.
