Eik Annen Etage is the serious fine-dining room on the second floor of Hotel Continental, where the Eik team took over the hotel's historic gourmet restaurant and turned it into a modern-classic destination — continental technique meeting Scandinavian ingredients. The move is the weekly-changing set menus (3 to 5 courses) with wine pairings, and reviewers consistently rate the cooking and service at or near the top tier in Oslo. It's an occasion-and-expense-account kind of place, but by Oslo fine-dining standards many find it fair value for the polish.
