A branch of Espresso House, the big Swedish coffee chain (JAB-owned), sitting on Parkveien with a pleasant view over the Palace park. It's exactly what you'd expect from the format: reliable, standardized coffee, pastries and light bites, comfy seating and Wi-Fi — fine for a quick caffeine stop or a laptop hour, but not a place you'd cross town for when Oslo has so many strong independent roasters.
