The Gamlebyen outpost of Fuglen, one of the anchors of Oslo's third-wave coffee culture — here doubling as their coffee roastery, home to the old Probat roaster once used by Tim Wendelboe. It's the serious-coffee-and-cocktails hybrid Fuglen is known for: excellent brews and pour-overs by day, cocktails and live jazz into the evening later in the week. If you care about specialty coffee in Oslo, this is a genuine pilgrimage; if you just want a quick flat white it may feel a touch precious.
