The Spis take

A beloved neighbourhood bar in the old terracotta-coloured gasworks lighthouse building at the top of Kubaparken, just above Vulkan on Grünerløkka. The draw is the big, spacious park-side terrace with refreshingly student-friendly prices, plus indoor seating with shuffleboard for colder days; it's a bar rather than a kitchen, serving only snacks, though you're welcome to bring in food from nearby. A genuinely lovely spot for a summer beer in the park.
