A proper French delicatessen and cheese counter inside the Mathallen food hall that doubles as a little wine bar, where you can perch with a glass and a cheese plate by the Akerselva window. The much-loved move is the duck confit baguette, widely called one of the best-value bites in the whole hall, alongside serious farm cheeses and cured meats they'll vacuum-pack for you. It's a small counter rather than a full restaurant, so go for a snack-and-wine graze, not a sit-down dinner.
