The Spis take

A grand old concert hall and bar in the city centre (Grensen 1, entrance from Møllergata), run by the historic Stortorvets Gjæstgiveri and formerly known as Gamle Christiania. It's one of Oslo's longest-running live-music rooms, hosting Norwegian and international acts plus cabaret, with the Gamla Beat Bar and backyard taking over for late-night DJ nights. Go for the show and a drink rather than for dinner; this is a venue first, kitchen second.
