The Spis take

A small, dim, beloved jazz club just off C. J. Hambros plass in the centre, and one of Oslo's best rooms for live jazz and blues most nights of the week. It leans toward New Orleans-style Dixieland, hosts touring and Norwegian names, and runs a Sunday-night jam that's an institution in itself; Oslo Jazzforum has programmed here since 1996. Come for the music and the atmosphere with a drink in hand, not for the food, this is a music pub first.
