The Spis take

A long-running Chinese kitchen (trading since 1989, rebranded from Mr. Hong in 2019) on Stortingsgata near the National Theatre, spanning dim sum, Cantonese stir-fries, sushi and a pick-your-own Mongolian grill. It's a something-for-everyone spot in a prime tourist stretch, and that's the caveat: local critics have knocked it as a bit of a tourist trap, so keep expectations in check. Fine for a convenient, filling central meal rather than a memorable one.
