The Spis take

The in-house café at the Norsk Folkemuseum on Bygdøy, with its own entrance from Museumsveien so you don't need a museum ticket to drop in. It leans traditional and Norwegian, open sandwiches, cakes, wraps and coffee, in a warm wood-lined room with a central fireplace that's genuinely pleasant on a cold day. Prices run a touch high and service can lag when the museum is busy, but for a break during a Bygdøy outing it does the job nicely.
