The Spis take

The café-restaurant inside Litteraturhuset (the House of Literature) near Solli, and one of the more pleasant places in town to linger over a coffee, a plate or a full meal with a book. It's unpretentious rather than gastronomic — the draw is the bright, bookish room and the LesBar reading lounge, plus the occasional author-cooked event — so come for the atmosphere and the setting as much as the food. A civilised spot for a slow lunch or a pre-event bite.
