Good forcoffee and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere

The Spis take
One of Oslo's most quietly charming oddities: a cross-generational cafe from the people behind Liebling, tucked inside a Grünerløkka retirement home, where uniformed nurses and residents with walkers share the room with young locals over coffee. Named after a children's song ("Maybe the king will come"), it's about atmosphere and a good cup more than a food menu, and its tiny hours (typically only a couple of weekdays, roughly 11–16) mean you have to plan. Go for the singular, gently heart-warming vibe.
