The seasonal café on Hovedøya, the little island a short ferry hop from the city centre, tucked into a red wooden cabin near the old monastery ruins. It keeps things simple - shrimp and Skagen open sandwiches, salads, cold beer - and the real draw is eating it outdoors after a swim or a walk among the ruins on a summer day. Open only in the warm months; go for the setting and the ferry-trip charm, not a gourmet meal.
