The Spis take

A sprawling three-floor venue in a handsome 1920s factory building on Skøyen that tries to be everything at once: café and restaurant, pub and sports bar, plus a live-music and events stage. It works best as a flexible neighborhood hangout for Skøyen's office crowd, weekend brunch, or catching a match with a beer, rather than as a serious dining destination. Go for the room and the versatility; keep expectations modest on the food.
