One of Oslo's newer neighborhood bars, Langt Langt Borte turned a drab commercial space near Sinsen/Carl Berner into a warm butter-yellow room with red accents and a record player alternating Beatles and Oasis. It's a beer-and-wine bar with a playful streak, punny house drinks and cheap snacks like cheese, ham, olives or just crisps, plus a big outdoor area that welcomes both friend groups and dogs. Not a dining destination and a short hop from the center, but exactly the kind of unpretentious local you end up staying at longer than planned.
