Good fora playful omakase splurge
“
The Spis take
The quiet showpiece of the Lofthus Samvirkelag stable on Grünerløkka: a pizza-and-bistro room that hides a genuinely creative Japanese-leaning omakase at the counter, chef Håkan Wiik running 8–12 courses that famously end on a slice of pizza. It's the sort of playful, boundary-blurring cooking Oslo critics have taken seriously, and the tasting menu (roughly 1250–1500 kr) is a proper occasion. The clever part is you don't have to commit to all of it — you can also just drop in for a beer and a bistro plate on the square, which keeps it feeling like a neighbourhood place rather than a temple.
