Magnat Kaffehus is a specialty-coffee outfit in Kvadraturen, run entirely by barista-certified staff and better known to Oslo's law-and-finance offices as a bean-to-cup supplier than as a walk-in café. There is a small espresso bar (Kongens gate 6, entrance Kirkegata 7) where the coffee is genuinely well made and the service warm, but this is a quiet, professional-leaning spot rather than a buzzy hangout. Come for a properly pulled espresso, not for atmosphere or a food menu.
