The Spis take

One of the more ambitious Indian restaurants in central Oslo, spanning northern and southern dishes with real spicing and a surprisingly serious wine list (they claim several hundred labels). Regulars rate it among the city's best Indian, singling out the quail signature dish and southern curries like Kerala Kozhi Masala. It leans upscale and prices accordingly, so it reads as a special-occasion Indian rather than a weeknight curry, but the flavour tends to justify the bill.
