The Spis take

The main café inside Oslo's National Museum, run by Dugurd with a focus on local, clean ingredients and Scandinavian flavours, from a daily dinner special and sour-cream porridge to a dessert-waffle menu. It has its own entrance off the museum plaza, so you don't strictly need a ticket, and the wider building hides more spots including a bun bar and a weather-dependent rooftop bar with fjord views. A cut above the usual museum cafeteria, and reasonably priced for the setting, though it's still a museum café first.
