Paradis Gelateria is Oslo's go-to for proper Italian gelato, founded in 2012 on Tjuvholmen by two Italians who bonded over missing the flavours of home. They churn it fresh with high-quality Norwegian milk plus imported touches (Sorrento lemons, Piedmont hazelnuts, Sicilian pistachio), with vegan, lactose- and gluten-free options too. It's a small chain now with several outlets, but the quality has held up and it remains a genuine local favourite for a scoop.
