The Spis take

A big, buzzy cafe-bar by Arbeidersamfunnets plass that doubles as a pre- and post-show hangout for the nearby concert halls (Sentrum Scene, Rockefeller, Oslo Spektrum). Expect hearty, unfussy "working-class portions" and a decent drinks list in a loud, social room rather than a serious dinner destination. It's open late and made for meeting friends before a gig.
