RF-Kjellern

The Spis take

RF-Kjellern (Realistforeningen) is a student-run bar and café in the basement of the Vilhelm Bjerknes building at Blindern, going since 1984 with room for around 200 and a steady diet of cheap beer, concerts, pub nights and film screenings. Volunteer-staffed and warmly reviewed by the students who use it, it's a proper campus institution — but very much a UiO spot rather than somewhere the general public would seek out. Great value and atmosphere if you're on the science campus.
